Bob Marshall Senate Campaign to Hold its First Fund-Raising Event Print E-mail

Del. Bob Marshall (R., Manassas), candidate for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate, will hold his campaign’s first fund-raising event on Sunday at historic Buckland Farm, 6342 Pleasant Colony Lane, near Warrenton.

The event, a reception, will be hosted by David W. Blake, owner of Buckland Farm, from 3 to 7 p.m.

Immigration Reform Organization Endorses Marshall For Senate Print E-mail

Del. Bob Marshall (R., Manassas) has been endorsed for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate by U.S. Border Control, a Virginia-based organization founded in 1988 and dedicated to ending illegal immigration by securing America's borders and reforming immigration policies.

“As chairman of U.S. Border Control,” Edward I. Nelson, of McLean [usbc.org], wrote to Marshall on March 29, “I am proud to give you our organization's endorsement.

“I found some time to review your website, not just the immigration portion, but your views across the board.  As important as border and immigration policies are to me, I could not, in good conscience, endorse a person who was right on immigration but wrong on the other serious issues our nation faces.

Marshall Names Manager, News Director for his Senate Campaign Print E-mail

Del. Bob Marshall (R., Manassas), candidate for Virginia’s Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate, has appointed, as his campaign manager, Steve Waters, grass-roots director of the successful 2006 effort to add the definition of marriage to the State Constitution as between a man and a woman.

Marshall also has designated, as his campaign news director, Bill Kling, a former news editor, reporter and prize-winning columnist, and veteran of political campaigns and organizations nationally and in 13 states, including Virginia.
