An Open Letter to the VA House of Delegates:Taxpayers Support Online Spending Transparency, HB 432 Print E-mail

The following press release was sent out by the National Taxpayers Union and the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste endorsing HB 432 which is Delegate Bob Marshall's bill; he is the chief sponsor.

This is yet another example of how Delegate Marshall sticks to his principles and serves the people of Virginia.  When he says he wants open government, he means it.  He believes government should be transparent.  He does not want government spending hidden from the people who pay the bills.  Delegate Marshall believes in having an open, honest dialogue with the government.  The phrase, "of, by and for the people" means something to Delegate Marshall and he pledges to continue to keep this important principle a goal of his U.S. Senate campaign.

We hope you can spread the word about Delegate Marshall. We look forward to seeing you on the campaign trail.  We thank the NTU and CCAGW for its attempts to preserve open government.
